Ms Schwartz is an Associate with the Law Offices of Joshua Friedman. She represents victims of illegal harassment and discrimination, in employment, education and housing. Ms Schwartz is admitted in Colorado.

Ms Schwartz graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in May 2013, where she was a Senior member of the Editorial Board of the The Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law. She was the recipient of the Claire Corcoran Award for extraordinary commitment to public interest work, and was selected as a member of the Law and Public Service Program. While she was at UVA, Ms Schwartz did pro bono work for the Mississippi Center for Justice, The Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia; the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia; and the Maryland Disability Law Center. She was also a Co-Chair of the Feminist Legal Forum, and a VP of the Jewish Law Students Association.

Ms Schwartz received her BA summa cum laude from Brandeis University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was a recipient of the Grace Short Book award for Outstanding Achievement in American Studies.

Ms Schwartz was a Legislative Assistant to Congressperson Betty McCollum, in Washington, DC, responsible for labor, employment, health, human services, youth, and housing issues. After that, she became a Legislative Associate at the National Council of Jewish Women, where she managed a domestic and international sexual and reproductive health and rights policy portfolio, lobbied members of Congress and other decision-makers, and led a coalition of progressive faith-based organizations.

After beginning law school, Ms Schwartz was an Intern at the U.S. Department Of Justice, Civil Rights Div., Employment Litigation Section, where she worked on sexual harassment cases under Title VII, and at Legal Voice, where she worked on Title IX sexual harassment litigation, workplace and housing rights issues. Ms Schwartz was an Extern at the Northwest Justice Project, Family Law Unit, where she litigated various areas of family law.
